Inspired by this week: Visual whites
Last week I featured this post in which I talked all about inspiration in the everyday ordinary - inspiration and beauty that we see all around us! I enjoyed all of your input and wonderful comments, as well as the time it took for me to reflect on what I was truly inspired by - so I decided to make this a continuing series - Inspired by this week. Look forward to everyday and (extra)ordinary things and happenings, inspiring fellow blog posts, emotions, photographs, cravings, books, music, people, and just anything that sparked inspiration in me throughout the week! I'm so excited for this time of reflection!
Let's get to it! This week I was inspired by:
WINTER // Okay, so I know it's a little early to be thinking about winter, but it overcame me earlier in the week and I had a bit of a winter holiday phase where I pinned like a crazy woman! Not so much inspired by the dreaded cold, though...
PUMPKINS // Seeing all the pumpkin patch visits and pumpkin recipes on fellow blogs lately has really been amazing! I LOVE pumpkins - any recipe, especially pumpkin pie. I'm inspired to bake something real soon...
LONELINESS // I'm "secretly an introvert" and don't embrace loneliness as such a bad thing. There's beauty in loneliness - I love having time to myself to reflect and do what makes me happy. But lately I've been missing my family and friends back home - I think it's because the closer I get to visiting them (for 3 weeks next month!!!), the more I'm able to let myself feel my emotions of missing them and being so far away.
LIGHT // Natural light is one of my favorite things. There is so much beauty in it. For as long as I can remember, lighting was important to me (weird thing to be concerned about as a kid, right?). Laicie over at A Thousand Threads put it so perfectly in her recent post - and I just thought about it throughout the entire day. Now that I'm trying to do more photography, I'm always aware of my natural light and I've never been so in love with it!!!
Do you have something you were inspired by this week? I'd love to hear about it! . . .
